The Oregon Anjou

A “Casual Northwest” party theme.

¼ oz Clear Creek Pear Brandy
¼ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
¼ oz Oregon Pinot Gris Syrup
1 ½ oz Fresh Pear Puree
1 ½ oz Vodka

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into glass. Garnish with paper thin slice of Seckel pear.

Fresh Pear Puree
Peel, core and quarter 2 Anjou pears. Place in large saucepan. Cover with water and a squeeze of lemon juice. Poach on medium heat until soft, about 10 minutes. Strain and puree. Cool before use.

Oregon Pinot Gris Syrup
Combine half cup Oregon Pinot Gris with ½ cup sugar in large saucepan. Simmer for several minutes, until syrup-like. Cool before use.
