Chef Brian Piasecki's passion for cooking started early, watching his mother as she prepared traditional comfort food for the family in Toledo, Ohio. At fifteen he took his first job in a local restaurant. “I felt so at home in the kitchen,” he says, “I never really considered another career.”

At the young age of 20, Piasecki embarked on the beginning of a long career with Walt Disney World® Resort, joining its apprenticeship program at Epcot® and working his way through numerous different Walt Disney World Resort restaurants and banquet kitchens. Piasecki’s on-the-job training eventually elevated him to head chef and managerial positions, overseeing the receiving, culinary, bakery/pastry and stewarding departments at Disney resort restaurants.

Piasecki now displays his intense interest in freshness and flavor at Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot, where he heads a nineteen-member culinary team.
